Chairman of the Advisory Board

Simon is a chairman and leader with 30 years’ experience in starting, scaling, acquiring and turning round businesses. He was Chairman and Senior Partner of KPMG in the UK and a member of KPMG’s Global Board and Executive Committee from 2012 until 2017.

A boardroom adviser, especially in exit planning, scaling, financial matters, governance and change, Simon has advised and run businesses in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia. He challenges the status quo and inspires and develops individuals and teams. Simon is passionate about, and committed to, inclusion and responsibility in business.

Currently, Simon chairs and advises companies using AI/ML technology. These include:

• GALLOS Technologies (Chair)

• Quantexa (Advisory Board Chair)

• Signal-AI (Advisory Board Member)

• Markaaz (Advisory Board Member)

Simon is also Lead NED at the Royal Air Force, an Advisory Board member at Lakestar Capital and a principal at Gold Collins Edelman Advisors, which advises large organisations (principally FTSE corporates and Government agencies) on stressful events including conduct and regulatory issues. He was Chair of Big Technologies plc until 2024 and senior adviser to BNP Paribas until March 2025.
